 About me

Being the result of a mix of cultures, I've been jumping from language to language since I can talk. Becoming a translator was just as natural as walking. It's not just about words, it's about feelings and ways of living and a bunch of other immaterial stuff I always had to mirror from mamma's side to papa's side.

Qualifications

Life experience. Genetics

Experience

Both of my parents were translators, so I started as a reader, searching for the small mistakes. Then I got the extra work they couldn't handle. Then I started getting my own assignments. Since I started my university studies, I always went on doing translations to get my pocket money. It was never a full-time job, but it has been lasting for 10 years as a part-time job

References

I have no regular clients (except for one). I've worked for the Lisbon town hall, for the international federation for architecture, housing and urbanism, for a translation agency (Arobtrad - Strasbourg), for a book house (Relógio d'àgua - Lisbon), for a production agency (People Television - Paris), for a Dance platform (DBM - Lisbon/Marseille) and in a regular way for a dance association (Danças na Cidade - Lisbon)

Interests

I am interested in everything, as any curious people should be. But I have my preferences, like photography, cooking, travelling and reading.
